Alicia – Office Manager
Alicia is our Office Manager. She began her career in dentistry in South Dakota in 1993 by sterilizing the dental instruments. She went on to become a dental assistant in 1994, moved to Farmington, and joined our team in 1999 as one of our smiling faces at the Front Desk before becoming our Office Manager in 2004. Alicia has two adorable kids (bunnies) named Sofie and Phoebe. She grew up in California and enjoys camping, gardening, fishing (summer and winter), traveling, and just enjoying the outdoors.
Brittany – Front Desk Coordinator
Brittany is the other smiling face who will greet you at the front desk. Brittany has worked in the dental field as a Front Desk Coordinator since 2013. When she first started out, she took the initiative to learn more about dentistry by researching procedures and watching educational videos online. In her free time, she enjoys traveling; spending time with her friends and family; and playing with her three rat terriers, Duke, Thor, and Pebbles.
Jane – Scheduling Coordinator
Jane is our newest addition to our front office staff. Jane has 25 years of experience in the dental field as a scheduling manager and dental hygienist. She loves animals and has 2 cats named Bert & Ernie. She enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with friends by the water, whether it is at the beach or the lake. Her most important thing is being a mom and spending time with her two college-age kids, Alexandra and Keith.
Noni – Dental Hygienist
Noni, one of our wonderful dental hygienists, has been in the dental field since 1971 and joined our team in 1990. Now semi-retired, Noni has the time to give back to the community by regular volunteering at the Mission Outpost Dental Clinic in Burnsville; she has also volunteered with Mission of Mercy, Team Smile, and Give Kids a Smile. Her special interest is educating seniors about their specific dental needs. Noni has been a guest speaker at local senior centers and homes, and an exhibitor for Heart of the City Dental at the Senior Expo. Noni and her husband live in Burnsville and are empty-nesters, but they love to have their nine grandkids visit the nest! Noni loves to garden—at last count, she has over 600 Hostas growing. Their property is a registered Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Foundation. She is a member of the Minnesota Hosta Society, the American Hosta Society, and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. With fewer work hours, Noni has more time to read, go shopping, and have wine with the girls! Her favorite quote is, “If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need!”
Carrin – Dental Hygienist
Carrin, one of our dental hygienists, graduated from Argosy University with her degree in dental hygiene in 2012. In her free time, Carrin loves to spend time outdoors, going for walks, or being on the water. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family and hanging out with her two dogs: a golden lab named Ziggy and a miniature pinscher named Ezra. Carrin also participates in softball, keeping book here in the Burnsville and Apple Valley recreational leagues.
Kim – Dental Assistant
Kim, one of our dental assistants, has been in the dental field since 1982 and has been with Heart of the City Dental since 2004. Kim is an avid fan of the Minnesota Gophers, especially their hockey team. Born and raised in Farmington, Kim lives there still with her “daughter” Cinder Ella, a Shih Tzu. Kim enjoys boating, fishing, golfing, playing and watching hockey, and being with good friends.
Jody – Dental Assistant
Jody is one of our licensed dental assistants. She has been a dental assistant since 1995 and is certified in restorative expanded functions. She has worked extensively with patients with high dental anxiety who need IV or oral sedation. Jody enjoys volunteering her dental skills at Mission Outpost and Mission of Mercy. Jody is originally from Wisconsin and is a Green Bay Packers fan. She is married and has 4 grown children. Her youngest son is in the Army National Guard, and Jody enjoys volunteering with Blue Star Mothers of America. When she is not working, Jody enjoys spending time with family; hunting; fishing; and playing up at her cabin with her 2 dogs, Harley and Dakota.
Heidi – Dental Assistant/Dental Hygienist
Heidi graduated from NCC in 1989 as a licensed dental assistant. She then went on to complete her degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of MN. Heidi has been in the dental field for 28 years, and she believes that it is her responsibility to deliver the utmost quality care to her patients. In her spare time, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family. Heidi also enjoys scrap-booking, working out, boating and writing. She feels that she was blessed to have been able to write and publish the book The Lily Pad and the Dragonfly; however, her biggest passion is people! She truly enjoys getting to meet new people.
Bonnie – Dental Assistant/Dental Hygienist
Bonnie is the newest member of our Dental Hygiene team. Bonnie has been in the dental field since 1988 and a graduate of Nomandale Community College. She loves being a Dental Hygienist.
